Since 2016, the separate division of Malamut Trans LLC has been based in Ust-Kut city and conducts transportation activities in the Irkutsk Region and the Republic of Sakha.
The production site includes an operational motor vehicle fleet and warehouse service. At all stages of material and technical resource (MTR) movement from the primary receipt base in Ust-Kut to final delivery at sites, Malamut Trans personnel ensure timely entry of transport operation data into a unified information system. Relevant data in the required format is available to the Customer upon request or on a continuous basis. Major clients include service companies supporting numerous oil fields in the region.
Delivery to Ust-Kut — Properly Structured Logistics
Owning its own equipment and warehouse complex allows the company to solve complex logistics tasks within agreed deadlines and with high quality performance. During the navigation (summer) period, the company performs cargo transportation by road along the VSTO routes and via the Lena River using river transport with carrying capacities ranging from 200 to 2,500 tons. In the winter period, transportation to the Chayandinskoye oil and gas condensate field, Srednebotuobinskoye field, as well as to settlements such as Vitim village, and cities of Lensk and Mirny and other remote areas of the Far North is carried out via the "Vilyuy" winter road.
Within the "Power of Siberia" project, during the 2017-2018 winter road season, our company provided transportation services for Customers including Schlumberger, TYUNG, SBM Service Center, VCHNG, Gazartstroy. More than 15,000 tons of cargo were delivered to the fields by Malamut Trans. The majority of goods were received and shipped by the Malamut Trans warehouse team. In Ust-Kut city, the company has developed operations including handling cargo reception/delivery from road vehicles, movable railway rolling stock, and river fleet of the Lena basin. We have implemented and successfully operate services such as nomenclature accounting of MTR, stock control by batches, repacking and formation/disbandment of cargo places, re-packaging of goods, and container rental.
