Pevek is the northernmost city in Russia, located on the coast of the East Siberian Sea in the Chukotka Autonomous District.
A total of more than 7,700 tons of cargo was delivered, including 5,700 tons of big bags, containers with equipment, construction materials, and food supplies. In addition, the vessel carried Malamut Trans’s own cargo-handling and lifting equipment, designated to support the operations of the company’s branch in Pevek.
The delivered equipment includes:
- a TEREX mobile crane with a lifting capacity of up to 75 tons,
- truck-mounted cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 32 tons,
- flatbed trucks and forklifts,
- a mobile repair workshop.
As part of its commitments to provide comprehensive logistics and warehousing services for mining enterprises in the Chukotka Autonomous District, Malamut Trans will soon launch its own warehouse terminal in Pevek.
