From June 14 to 19, 2025, the international trade and economic exhibition–fair "Langfang Conference 2025" of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) took place in Langfang, People's Republic of China. The event hosted a delegation from enterprises of the Arkhangelsk Region, members and partners of the “Sozvezdie” association.
The main goal of the organized business mission was to strengthen business ties between our region and China, showcase the potential of Pomorye, and discuss prospects for cooperation with Chinese partners.
Among the delegates representing the Arkhangelsk Region was our company, Malamut Trans LLC, represented by lead logistics specialist Olga Vasilyevna Orlova. At the conference venue, exhibition complex, and Caofeidian port, a series of B2B meetings were held with Chinese transport companies, which revealed significant interest in cooperation and partnership, accompanied by an exchange of business contacts.
A memorandum of intent for further cooperation was signed between Malamut Trans LLC and one of China’s leading transport corporations.
A key event of the business mission was the Russia-China roundtable on transport and logistics. During this event, Chinese colleagues from Hebei Province gained a comprehensive understanding of the potential of the Arkhangelsk transport hub and the opportunities arising from the integration of efforts between the two countries to develop a new transport corridor between Russia and China via the Northern Sea Route.
As a result of the roundtable negotiations, a tripartite memorandum of intent was signed to deepen the partnership.
